A SONG BIRD

This bird is known as a scissor tail. It is graceful in flight

and knows the different winds of the air. The birds fly

across the fire to disappear in the distance. The bird is

reflected in the fire as if lying there. The wood that

is parched out turns into feathers. The birds are known

to be singers. The rhythm as he glides and sings through

his flight is a beautiful song.

Among the bird fans used in the worship, the swallow

type of bird is used also, which is known as a scissor tail.

His tail feathers are very long and have a black tip and

he has a pink, rosy tint on his plumage. The Indians

collect a cluster of these feathers and make it into a fan.

They are very beautiful. My conception of this bird is

graceful in flight, who knows the different winds of the

air, as it glides so beautifully through the air. Under the

sensation of peyote, I gather an idea of two birds gliding

across with the most beautiful feathers flying over the

fireplace, disappearing in the distance. Then I notice that

the bird is reflected in the fire as if the bird lay in the fire.

The wood that is parched out of fire turns into feathers.

Then I found that the birds are known to be singers.

The rhythms as he glides and sings through his flight

are some of the most beautiful in song.
