In a great tissue of light and sparkling ripples of water
came the bird. In the midst of this great moving light was
the Cormorant. There was a softness, a coolness to the air.
There was a beauty of mists and of rainbows. This great
god of birds, this god of the waters became apparent. He
comes flying and tips the water with his wings. The air
fills with birds. They glide and dip and swim. There is
a silver light on their feathers. A radiance is around this
bird who has authority over all birds of the waters. ~
