Frenchman who had been with the
Indians since his youth, the stern fine
looking Chief

of the Kiowas, Mrs. Peters and many Kiowas. Tsa Toke,

a dominant in his tribe made the address of the evening,

 with courteous
apologies for speaking in Kiowa since
 many
of his people did not understand English.
 The Kiowas chanted and danced
through a large part

 of the night.
